Book Review – The Perfect Murder by Peter James

Brilliant a clever and humorous piece of crime fiction and a must read. Peter James ‘Quick Read’ The Perfect Murder is the story of a couple Victor and Joan Smiley who have been married for nearly twenty years. When Victor and Joan first met they were very much in love but over time this faded into hatred towards each other. The solution both come up with to resolve their problems is to plot the perfect murder.

The plot is simple but clever and the dialogue is highly witty. As with any perfect murder things don’t always go according to plan. This was the first Peter James book I had read and his style of writing got me hooked and I will without a doubt be reading more Peter James.

Completely Brilliant - Great but simple plot had me cracking up.

Another one I recommend to add to your bookshelf but don’t let your partner read it they might get ideas.
